CheckAndSnap

How it works

Follow one shared record from checklist setup through the handover, the return and the reports.

From checklist to return report

Each participant contributes their own observations. The handover becomes the frozen baseline used to compare fresh return evidence.

CheckAndSnap handover lifecycleSeven connected stages: create a checklist, capture handover evidence, review, acknowledge and freeze the baseline, use the item or space, capture and compare the return, then download available reports.1234567
The handover baseline stays alongside fresh return observations for comparison.
  1. Create the case and checklist

Choose a starter checklist or make a personal one. Add the item or space, participants and expected return details.

  2. Capture the handover together

Both participants can add checklist responses, photos and notes. A photo is part of the record after its upload completes.

  3. Review observations side by side

Each person's observations remain attributed to them. A difference can be recorded instead of being hidden or treated as a match.

  4. Acknowledge the same saved version

Each participant acknowledges the exact saved handover version they reviewed. When both have acknowledged it, that version is frozen as the return baseline. Later edits create a new version.

  5. Use the room or item

The expected return date is shown with the case details.

  6. Capture and compare the return

Add fresh return observations and photos beside the frozen handover baseline. Both participants review the saved return version.

  7. Keep available reports

Download available reports and evidence files from the case.

An acknowledgement records that a participant saw a specific stage and version. It does not say the item is undamaged, decide who is responsible, or turn silence into agreement.
